Pastor John Cho discovered his faith at 19 during a transformative encounter with Jesus. Driven by a desire to support the gospel, he embarked on a career in finance, becoming the youngest individual to pass the CPA exam in South Korea in 2009. He swiftly joined KPMG, where he honed his expertise at a young age.

Despite his professional success, Pastor John faced personal struggles with sin and a lack of spiritual identity. His life took a pivotal turn when he embraced the teachings of Word of Faith Publishers, experiencing a profound transformation as a new creation in Christ.

Mentored by esteemed leaders Pastor Jinho Kim and Pastor Soon Ae Choi of Ambassadors for Christ Church, Pastor John returned to academia to establish a campus church. His passionate preaching of the new creation gospel and commitment to disciple-making led him to meet and marry Pastor Paula Kim in 2013.

In 2014, Pastor John answered the call to lead the young adults ministry at Ambassadors for Christ Church in Seoul, serving for four impactful years. Concurrently, he fulfilled his role as an accounting lieutenant for three years. Following his discharge, he felt compelled to move to America in July 2018.

Settling in Dallas, Texas—the heart of the Word of Faith movement—Pastor John embraced his mission to exemplify a victorious Christian life in everyday American settings. Balancing his professional career with evangelism, he began building a church from his home, culminating in the vision for NCTC.

Today, Pastor John serves as the President of NCTC, partnering with his wife, Pastor Paula Kim, to spread the gospel and nurture people to be the laborers as a part of the new creation army.
